Hey loves 🙂
I have always been a new years resolutions type of person so as I was on my Christmas trip I got me some beautiful notepads and I was all set to start the year with a bang. So the day after new years I sat down to write down my resolutions, at some point I put my pen down and asked myself “What exactly is the essence of new years resolutions?” “How many times have you started each year with some written down and accomplished nothing worth mentioning?”
I bet a lot of you relate…
I decided to stop lying to myself and I set out to make weekly goals, something more tangible. So at the end of the week I can get a sense of fulfillment with whatever little or much I’d set out to do.
Whatever works for you; it could be a whole years resolutions, weekly goals or even daily tasks let God into them and see Him fulfill and manifest himself in every tiny step you make.
One of my monthly goals has been to read a book each month. I have never been much of a reader so it’s been such a huge struggle. I have 30 pages to finish my January book but I am so proud of the progress I have made.
If you’re wondering what book it is, it’s called The Girl on the Train (and I’m super stoked they decided to do a movie on it, October 7th 2016)
